Fresh Friday- Bring on the Bass
In this edition of Fresh Friday we feature some amazing Drum & Bass , House, Electro, Progressive, and Dubstep. We hunted around for our picks of the week in order to feature some major tunage from upcoming producers. As the year comes to a close, we see no stop to the amount of new music being released. Looks like we can expect some major tracks from artists from around the world in 2013. In this round-up we have Flume, Dubbel Dutch, Shelco Garcia, Upgrade, Mista Men, and GTA.
This first track Flume features his signature sound in the form of a beautiful, chill House track that’s simply relaxing, with a mellow synth bass. Vocals serve as the icing on the cake. Enjoy!
This track by Dubbel Dutch is a Soca House track. Remixer Dubbel Dutch holds it down with a well layered percussion beat. Perfectly sampled and definitely a great track to mix into your sets.
This track is by Shelco Garcia and this guy has been going hard in the studio, pumping out EP’s and free releases. This track is his latest take on Progressive House music, and boy is it good! With the jumpy, rolling bass-lines, and hard kicks we get a well-produced track that could get any crowd started.
A very dark and aggressive drum and bass track. Simple samples that are effectively used along with the type of percussion you would expect from DnB . This is a definite add to your playlist if you’re a fan of DnB.
Mista Men is certainly helping the garage house movement in the UK and brings us this fresh release, with a 2-step feel and creamy mellow synths that are perfectly placed. A proper track and a reminder that the 90′s are back.
GTA is at it again and this time they’ve released a dubstep track with minor elements of trap music, but mainly with progressive style build ups, followed a big bass drop. melodic vocal samples that fit the son perfectly, and a driving beat, GTA did a good job on this one.
